Purchase & Payment Terms

These terms apply to every booking, jump ticket and event registration made with Jump Iceland.

1. Who you are contracting with

All services on this site are sold by Jump Iceland ehf., kennitala 510424-0450, VSK registration 000000, registered at Reykjavík Domestic Airport, 102 Reykjavík, Iceland. You can reach us at contact@jumpiceland.com or +354 000 0000.

2. Prices and currency

  • All prices are quoted and charged in Icelandic króna (ISK). ISK is the only settlement currency.
  • Any amount shown in another currency is an indicative conversion only. Your bank's exchange rate and any foreign-transaction fee apply.
  • The final amount payable, including any applicable VAT, is shown on the payment page before you confirm.
  • Prices include Icelandic VAT where applicable.

3. How booking and payment works

  • You submit a booking request with your preferred dates. No payment is taken at this stage.
  • We confirm availability and send you a private booking link showing your final amount in ISK.
  • You accept these terms and the Cancellation & Refund Policy, then pay by card through our payment provider.
  • Your card is charged in full at the moment you complete checkout. Your booking is confirmed once payment succeeds.
  • You receive a payment confirmation by email; your booking page updates to a paid state.

4. Card security

Card details are entered on Revolut's PCI DSS compliant hosted checkout. Jump Iceland never sees, handles or stores your full card number, expiry date or security code — we only retain a payment reference for your booking.

5. Cancellation, weather and refunds

  • Iceland's weather governs everything. If we cancel your jump for weather, safety or aircraft reasons, you may reschedule at no cost or receive a full refund.
  • Refunds are returned to the card used for payment, in ISK, normally within 5–10 business days.
  • Customer-initiated cancellations are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
  • Skydiving is weather-dependent and time-sensitive; the standard 14-day distance-selling withdrawal right does not apply to leisure services booked for a specific date.

6. Safety requirements

  • Tandem passengers must meet the published weight, height, age and health requirements. These exist for your safety and are not negotiable.
  • You must declare relevant medical conditions honestly. Withholding information may void your jump with no refund.
  • You must sign the operator's liability waiver on the day, before boarding.
  • Fun jumpers must present a valid licence, logbook and in-date reserve packing card.
  • Our instructors may stand a jump down at any point on safety grounds. Where we stand you down, the weather rules above apply.

7. Liability

Skydiving carries inherent risk. We operate to Icelandic aviation and parachuting standards and carry the insurance required of us, but participation is at your own risk to the extent permitted by Icelandic law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

8. Complaints and governing law

Contact contact@jumpiceland.com with any complaint and we will respond within five business days. These terms are governed by Icelandic law, and the District Court of Reykjavík has jurisdiction.
